Lori W. Andriot

Interior Designer

Lori's interest in interior design unfolded as a child while traveling around the world. Her father's military career not only introduced her to many cultures, it helped to nurture her passion for design. A 1985 graduate of Morehead State University, Lori earned Bachelor of Science and Associate of Applied Science degrees in Interior Design. Her education was also enhanced through courses at a Career Center Vocational Institute in Anchorage, Alaska. Prior to joining Bittners in 1991, Lori owned and operated a design business in Lexington, Kentucky and worked at the prestigious antique/design firm, Heinsmith.

Unique…Passionate…Versatile…Classic…Eclectic…these are just a few adjectives that describe Lori's award winning work. From historical renovations to contemporary design, she enjoys and eagerly accepts new challenges. Always focused on quality, her special attention to detail in custom designed furniture or rugs, original works of art, and architectural enhancements help to create the perfect environment for her clients. Although primarily focused on her Kentucky projects, Lori serves clients in California, Florida, Utah, and New York. A few of her favorite projects have included renovations of historic homes in Louisville's Cherokee Gardens and on Main Street in Cooperstown, New York. She has most recently become involved in several exciting homes in Florida as well as a mountain home in Utah.

In addition to winning best design in many show houses, Bluegrass Magazine has featured her work and noted her to be one of Kentucky's top interior designers. Her work has also been featured in Southern Living, was highlighted on the cover of the July, 1995 issue of Windows and Walls, and was included in the 2002 book Behind Closed Doors A Private Glimpse of Louisville Homes.

Lori also devotes some of her time giving back to the community. She currently serves on the Steering Committee of Women's Initiative for the Metro United Way.
