“We are extremely proud to have Mr. Riddle in such a prominent position within our company. His abilities and experience will allow us to propel to the next level in design,” said Claire Alagia, CEO of Bittners.
The late great
American fashion designer, Bill Blass, was quoted as saying, “Douglas has a
great eye with vision and style--and that cannot be taught.” It was also Mr.
Blass who told Douglas that he should expand his talent to Home Design, but he
should never leave the fashion world behind. Douglas continues to follow Mr.
Blass’ advice. Recently, while in Paris for the Home Show of Maison & Objet, he
was among a few guests that received a private tour of the Yves Saint Laurent
Museum.
