A little background…

Located in an historic urban “campus” and a short trolley ride from the center of downtown Louisville, Bittners, LLC, has become a well-known resource for those who seek excellence in the way they live, shop and work.  Bittners has never strayed from its mission to provide exceptional customer service and quality design and products which was established over 150 years old. We seek excellence in all we do; from choosing antiques from all over the world, to custom created furnishings to commercial and residential interiors and architectural services.  Our business continues its steady growth throughout an ever-changing economy as we simultaneously meet our customers’ needs. 

The Bittners’ “ Touch” has become an integral part of many of the regions finest homes and work places.  It is not a look-- it is an amalgam of compliments and contrasts that produce a desired effect while reflecting the individuality and integrity of the surroundings. 

Bittners’ owners and staff are motivated to keep the Bittners legacy ongoing.  Gustav Bittner, a German immigrant, opened this fine business as a cabinet shop in 1850.  The original sign hangs prominently over the double doors leading form our showroom floor into the woodworking shop.  Everyone at Bittners is reminded daily of the hard work and commitment of our ancestors as we pass this sign.  We continue that same hard work and commitment today. 

Owsley Brown Frazier and Laura Frazier along with Claire Alagia and Douglas Riddle are owners of this established firm.  Claire Alagia serves as Chief Executive Officer and Douglas Riddle serves as President and COO.  Laura Frazier is Chairman.
